IPCHS. Integrated People-Centred Health Services

Events

This webinar is the first of a series organized by the Canadian Society for International Health’s newly established SDGs for Health Community of Practice, organized in cooperation with different partners.

Communities of Practice have existed in the global health landscape for several years, yet many experts are still unclear on their program theory and possible contributions in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals. Dr. Sameera Hussain will begin with an introduction to the SDGs for Health CoP as a follow up to the recent Canadian Conference on Global Health, followed by Pr. Bruno Meessen, who will present some key concepts and principles. He will share his analysis on persisting gaps in knowledge management for global health. On the basis of his own experience, he will suggest possible ways forward for experts to invest time and enthusiasm in our CoP.  Bruno will then present The Collectivity, a new platform designed to enhance collaborative activities in global health, through which our SDGs for Health CoP will engage on a continual basis to share our knowledge.

The webinar will include a question and answer session during which participants can engage with the facilitator and speaker, ask questions and share experiences and knowledge on the topic.
