A multilevel study of patient-centered care perceptions in mental health teams

The successful combination of interprofessional collaboration in multidisciplinary teams with patient-centered care is necessary when it comes to delivering complex mental health services. Yet collaboration is challenging and patient-centered care is intricate to manage. This study examines correlates of patient-centered care such as team adaptivity and proactivity, collaboration, belief in interprofessional collaboration and informational role self-efficacy in multidisciplinary mental health teams.

Attitude and communication skills of German medical students

While the development of communication competencies in medical schools plays a pivotal role in the curriculum, studies show that students' communication skills and patient-centred attitudes may vary based on gender and ethnicity. The goal of this study was to investigate the socio-demographic factors that influence medical students' communication abilities and, more specifically, to what extent their attitude toward communication skills learning and patient orientation associate with communication abilities.

Oral health-related interdisciplinary practices among healthcare professionals in Saudi Arabia: Does integrated care exist?

There is a bidirectional relation between oral and general health, therefore collaboration between healthcare providers is needed. This study investigated current interdisciplinary practices and the associated factors among healthcare professionals in Saudi Arabia.
